Preschool Programs

Our learn-to-swim program takes children from their first independent strokes through to strong, confident swimming across all four strokes. With structured levels, small classes, and supportive instructors, kids progress step by step in water safety, technique, and stamina. Every lesson is designed to be fun, challenging, and rewarding — helping swimmers build skills and confidence they’ll carry with them for life.

TUGBOAT

2-4.5 years

3 children per class

This stage fosters independence and confidence with core skills like body positioning, swim-outs, floating, safe entries, and wall grabs - all taught in a fun, supportive environment.

Key Achievements:

Hold breath for a period of 5 seconds under water.
Independently swim out to the teacher.
Can swim from a launch independently
Float on back for 5 seconds independently.
Roll & float with minimal assistance.
Turning around under the water and find teacher with minimal assistance.
Swim to the wall and hold for 5 seconds with minimal assistance.
Jump in and return to the wall with minimal assistance - no goggles.
Jump in roll & float for 5 with minimal assistance - no goggles.
Can swim without goggles.

MINI TINNY

2-4.5 years

4 children per class

This level strengthens independence and introduces swimming technique foundations. Children practice rolling and floating, safe entries and exits, and using kickboards, with key activities like swim–roll–float, torpedoes, back kicking, and assisted jumps. Sessions build confidence, coordination, and water safety while preparing for advanced skills.

Key Achievements:

Can blow bubbles.
Independent swim-roll-float.
Eyes down with kick board correct arm and leg positioning.
Torpedo with correct arm and leg positioning.
Correct leg positioning on back kick with board.
Jump in and return to the wall with minimal assistance- no goggles.
Jump in, roll & float with minimal assistance - no goggles.
Can swim without goggles.

TINNY

2-5 years

4 children per class

At this stage, children build independence and confidence while refining skills like torpedoes, rolling, floating, back swimming, and recoveries. Side breathing and freestyle arms are introduced, with boards used to practice strokes and strengthen water safety and awareness.

Key Achievements:

Roll & independent float from platform to platform.
Swim from platform to teacher, to platform with board & pop up breath.
Swim from platform to platform with board & side breath - minimal assistance.
Torpedo from platform to teacher, to platform with pop up breath.
Torpedo from platform to platform with side breath & correct body position - minimal assistance.
Independent 3 big arms.
3 basic big arms with side breath – minimal assistance 6 meters.
Kick independently on their back 6 meters with the board.
Kick independently on their back 6 meters.
Jump in and return to the wall independently - no goggles.
Jump in, roll & float independently - no goggles.
Starting Dive technique - diving for dive rings off stand to bottom of pool.
