Safety Policy
The SwimAway Safety Policy outlines our commitment to keeping children safe in and around water. It covers staff and parent responsibilities, supervision rules, emergency procedures, and child protection practices. By joining our programs, families and staff agree to work together to create a safe, respectful environment for every child.
Enrolment and Fees
This policy outlines SwimAway’s enrolment process, class placement, pro-rata and enrolment fees, payment methods and schedules, late fees, voucher use, and applicable discounts and promotions.
Makeups/Cancellation and Attendance
This policy outlines SwimAway’s approach to makeup lessons, class cancellations, attendance requirements, and termination of enrolments. It covers rules for regular group classes, SwimFit, Infant Play, private, and additional support lessons, including notification periods, booking procedures, and conditions under which lessons may be forfeited or enrolments terminated.
Conduct and Behaviour
This policy outlines SwimAway’s expectations for respectful conduct, including zero tolerance for harassment, discrimination, threats, or inappropriate behaviour. It covers client interactions, privacy, image use, substance use, and smoking, and sets out the actions SwimAway may take to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all.
Private Lesson Policy
This policy outlines the requirements and conditions for non-attended Additional Support or Private Lessons at SwimAway. It covers how and when to notify us of a missed lesson to be eligible for a class credit (note: make-up lessons are not provided), the process we follow if your instructor is absent, and your options if a replacement teacher is offered or unavailable.
