Meet Our Leaders
At the heart of our program is a passionate team of teachers who care deeply about making every child feel safe, confident, and supported in the water. Each of our instructors brings unique experience, energy, and dedication to every lesson — creating an environment where children not only learn essential survival skills but also grow in confidence and have fun along the way.
Lauren
Owner
Lauren founded SwimAway over 15 years ago after noticing a gap in survival-based swim programs when enrolling her first child in lessons. As a mum, she designed our programs with children at the heart—focusing on lifelong skills that build confidence in the water and have the power to save lives.
Diane
General Manager
With more than 13 years of industry experience, Diane began her SwimAway journey as a swim teacher. As both a professional and a mum, she combines expertise with genuine care in everything she does. Today, Diane leads the operations across all our centres, ensuring every family enjoys the best possible SwimAway experience.
Nicole
Program Coordinator
With over 15 years of experience, Nicole discovered her passion for swim training while raising her children. Today, she oversees our entire aquatic program, drawing on her extensive qualifications to deliver engaging, high-quality lessons and ensure our water programs run seamlessly.

Marketing Manager
Lauren, the creative mind behind SwimAway’s marketing, brings strategy, storytelling, and style to everything she does. She helps us share our passion for swimming and our amazing community with the world, with ideas that are always making waves and a spark that keeps our socials shining.
Brittney
Assistant Manager
Brittney has been part of the SwimAway family for over 10 years, starting as a swim teacher and progressing into management. With a wealth of experience across all areas of the business, she plays a key role in ensuring our centres run efficiently and our team maintains the highest standards.
Kirsten
Training Coordinator
Kirsten has been instrumental in maintaining the high standards of our swim programs. She supports our main program coordinator, in developing lesson plans, and helps guide our team of instructors to ensure consistency and quality across all levels.
